About Tic Tac Toe Multiplayer X O
Tic tac toe on a 3x3 grid, dressed up with modern art and built for two. You take a square, your opponent takes one, and the first to line up three wins.
The rules take five seconds to learn, which is why it works as a game you play against someone sitting next to you. A round lasts under a minute, so it is the count of rounds that decides anything. It plays upright at 600 by 800, which suits passing a phone back and forth.
How to play
- Choose whether you play as X or O.
- Tap an empty square to claim it.
- Block your opponent when they have two in a row.
- Line up three of your own marks to win the round.
Controls
| Tap or click | Everything. One input does the whole game. |

Tips
- Take the centre when you go first. It sits on four of the eight winning lines.
- Watch for a fork, where one move gives your opponent two ways to win. Block the square that makes it, not the line.
