About BattleBox
BattleBox gives you a grid with treasure under some squares and monsters under others. You open squares, and what you learn from an opening tells you something about its neighbours. Health comes from strawberries you find along the way, which means a bad guess is survivable but a run of them is not.
It sits between a board game and a puzzle. The skill is in reading the grid rather than in guessing well, and a careful player will clear boards that a lucky one will not.
How to play
- Click a square to open it.
- Collect treasure. Avoid monsters, and eat the strawberries you find.
- Use what an open square tells you before opening the next one.
