About Master Checkers Multiplayer
Draughts as it has always been, with the board drawn brightly and the rules left alone. What it adds is opponents. You can play people elsewhere, take the computer when nobody is around, or pass one device back and forth with somebody in the room.
The game is short to learn and long to be good at. A capture that looks free usually is not, because the chain your opponent gets afterwards is the real cost. It plays upright at 600 by 800.
How to play
- Choose an online match, the computer, or a local game.
- Tap or click the piece you want to move.
- Tap or click the square you want to move it to.
- Take the jumps on offer and crown your pieces at the back row.
Controls
| Tap or click a piece | Select it |
|---|---|
| Tap or click a square | Move the piece there |
Tips
- Hold your back row. The pieces there stop your opponent from crowning.
- Count the reply before you take a piece. A single capture that opens a double is a loss.
