About Memorybot

A pairs game with a timer on it. You turn two cards a turn, matched cards stay face up, and the board is done when nothing is left hidden. The pressure comes entirely from the clock.

The cards are animated and the soundtrack carries the whole thing along, which makes the waiting between flips less dull than it sounds. Runs are short enough that a failed board costs nothing. It plays upright at 600 by 800, which fits a phone.

How to play

  1. Turn over one card to see what it is.
  2. Turn over a second card and look for a match.
  3. Leave matched pairs face up and carry on.
  4. Clear the whole board before time runs out.

Tips

  • Work through the board in a fixed order on the first pass. A random search wastes the flips you learn from.
  • Take a match the moment you know it. Holding one in your head while you look elsewhere costs you both.
