Where the games come from

Most of the catalogue comes from GamePix, which licenses HTML5 games for sites like this one. Those games play in a frame served by GamePix, and they carry advertising.

The other 15 are Flash games from the Cartoon Network era. The Internet Archive preserved them as part of its software library. This site keeps its own copy of each file and plays it with Ruffle, an open source Flash player that runs in the browser. Every classic links back to the Archive item it came from.

What we write ourselves

Forty of the games have a description, a controls table and a verdict written here after playing them. Those pages carry a score out of ten. The rest carry the facts the catalogue knows and nothing invented, and they get written up over time.
