About Mahjong Street Cafe

Tile matching set outside a street cafe. You pair the tiles that are free, the board settles, and a good pair opens the next one. Clear enough of them in sequence and the chain pushes the score up.

It sits between traditional mahjong and a three in a row puzzle, so the boards read quickly but still reward looking before you tap. It runs at 800 by 600 on a phone or a desktop.

How to play

  1. Find two free tiles that carry the same face.
  2. Tap them to pair them and take them off the board.
  3. Chain your pairs to build the score up.
  4. Clear the board to finish the level.

Controls

Tap or clickEverything. One input does the whole game.

Tips

  • Take the tile that frees two more. A pair that opens nothing is a pair you should have saved.
  • Keep the chain going once it starts. A pause costs more score than a slightly worse match does.
