About Kobadoo Arithmetic

Numbers appear, they go away, and then there is a sum to answer. Remembering the run would be work on its own, and calculating with it afterwards is the second half. Doing both is harder than either.

It is the most demanding of this family of drills, because memory and arithmetic want your attention in different ways: one wants you to hold still and the other wants you to work. The levels climb steadily rather than jumping, so there is a level where it stops being comfortable and that is where it is worth playing.

How to play

  1. Watch the numbers as the game shows them.
  2. Tap the tiles back in the order the round asks for.
  3. Clear a level and the next one gets longer.

Tips

  • Add as you go rather than at the end. One running total takes less room than five separate numbers.
  • Keep repeating the run under your breath while you calculate. The sum will take your attention off it otherwise.
