A plain format with a good subject. It teaches something without ever announcing that it is teaching.

About Flag Memory Match

Flag Memory Match is a standard pair matching game with a useful choice of subject. Flags are visually distinct enough to be fair and similar enough to be difficult, and after a few rounds you will start recognising ones you did not know.

Six levels raise the grid size rather than the speed. There is no timer pressure, so it works as something to play while thinking about something else. The educational angle is real rather than a label.

How to play

  1. Flip a card, then flip another.
  2. A matching pair stays face up. A mismatch turns back over.
  3. Clear the grid to open the next level.

Controls

Tap or clickEverything. One input does the whole game.

Tips

  • Work along one row at a time on the first pass. A random search wastes the information you already have.
  • Remember by the colour band, not by the whole flag. It is faster and just as reliable.
