About Cave Miner

A mining idler with one input and a long ladder underneath it. Every tap chips at the cave and whatever comes loose gets sold. The money goes into better tools, and better tools reach ore that the starting pick could never touch.

Depth is the whole reward structure. The rare and valuable ores are further down, so progress reads as a series of caves rather than a score, and each new one exists because you upgraded rather than because you were lucky. It plays at 800 by 600 on a phone or a desktop.

How to play

  1. Tap the rock to mine it.
  2. Collect the ore that comes loose.
  3. Spend what it is worth on better tools.
  4. Dig deeper for the rarer ore below.

Controls

Tap or clickEverything. One input does the whole game.

Tips

  • Upgrade the moment you can afford it. A better tool pays for itself faster than the ore you would have banked.
  • Do not stall on a layer you have cleared out. The point of a new tool is the cave under this one.
