About Quarantine Zombies

You move across an open board and a wall follows behind you. Bring that wall back to an edge and the area you have cut off is sealed. Do it around the zombies and they stop being a problem, as long as the space you trapped them in is small enough to count.

The sixteen square limit is what turns it from a territory game into a planning one. A big confident sweep that catches half the board catches nothing, so the interesting play is short cuts made in tight corners with something walking toward you. It plays in either orientation, and a swipe does everything the arrow keys do.

How to play

  1. Move across the open board to draw a wall behind you.
  2. Bring the wall back to an edge to seal the area off.
  3. Seal the zombies into zones of sixteen squares or fewer.

Tips

  • Cut small. An infected area over sixteen squares does not count as quarantined, however many zombies are in it.
  • Work out of a corner. Two existing edges do half of the fencing for you.
