About 1941 Frozen Front

A Second World War strategy game across hard, cold terrain. You command all three arms, and the ground itself is an opponent: what a tank can cross and what it cannot shapes the plan before the enemy does.

Resources are limited, so committing to an attack is committing to not defending somewhere else. The game rewards looking at the whole front rather than the fight in front of you. It plays at 800 by 600 on a phone or a desktop.

How to play

  1. Look over the front and see what the terrain allows.
  2. Move your tanks, planes and infantry into position.
  3. Attack where you have the advantage and hold elsewhere.
  4. Manage your resources between the engagements.

Controls

Tips

  • Send the planes to scout before the tanks commit. The terrain hides more than the map shows.
  • Holding ground you already own is cheaper than retaking it. Leave something behind.
