About Super Oliver World
Oliver runs through worlds full of traps and enemies, and the game is built from the parts you would expect a retro platformer to be built from: coins, hidden power ups and blocks that break open when you hit them.
It rewards moving. Stopping to think about a jump is usually what gets you hit, and the levels are laid out for a player who keeps going. The pixel art is deliberately old fashioned. It runs in landscape at 800 by 600, on a phone or a desktop.
How to play
- Move Oliver through the level.
- Smash the blocks you pass to see what is inside.
- Collect coins and take any power up you find.
- Deal with the enemies in your way and keep moving.
Controls
| Tap or swipe, or the arrow keys | Move |
|---|---|
| Tap the action button, or the space bar | Smash blocks and enemies |
Tips
- Hit every block you pass. The power ups are hidden in them and there is no other clue.
- Momentum is protection here. A level punishes hesitation more than it punishes a bad jump.
