Merge Mine starts as a clicker and stops being one within a few minutes. You buy tools, drag two matching tools together to make a better one, and the better tool mines while you are not looking. The clicking is only there to fund the first few merges.
The interesting choice is when to stop buying and start merging. Buying is cheap and immediate, merging costs you two tools and pays back over time. Games like this live or die on that curve, and this one gets it about right.
How to play
- Click the vein to earn your first diamonds.
- Buy tools, then drag two of the same tool together to merge them.
- Leave the game running. Merged tools keep mining without you.
- Come back and merge again.
