About Super Billy Boy

The setup is as old as the genre and it does not pretend otherwise. Your friend is gone, the world is pixelated, and the way back runs through traps and alien enemies. What it asks for is precision, because a platformer of this kind lives on exactly where you left the ground.

Each level brings something new to work around, so progress comes from reading a room before you enter it rather than from moving through it faster. It runs in landscape at 800 by 600, on a phone or a desktop, with one input.

How to play

  1. Move Billy through the level toward the exit.
  2. Time each trap rather than rushing at it.
  3. Deal with the aliens in your way, or get past them.
  4. Reach your friend to finish the level.

Controls

Tap or clickEverything. One input does the whole game.

Tips

  • Stop in front of a trap you have not seen work yet. Watching one cycle costs less than a life.
  • Jump late rather than early. Most falls in this kind of game come from leaving the ground too soon.
