About The Room

A 2D shooter built on a single idea. There is a heart at the centre of your ground, and everything that arrives wants to reach it. You hold the space around that centre while wave after wave comes in, each one heavier than the last.

The pixel art keeps the screen readable, which matters once it fills up. The controls are simple enough to pick up in a second, so the difficulty comes from how much is in front of you and how quickly you answer it. It plays in landscape at 800 by 600, on a phone or a desktop.

How to play

  1. Take a position between the enemies and what you are defending.
  2. Shoot each wave down before it reaches the centre.
  3. Hold on as the waves get heavier.

Controls

Tap or clickEverything. One input does the whole game.

Tips

  • Deal with the enemy closest to the centre first, not the one closest to you.
  • Keep moving between waves. A gap is time to reposition, not time to rest.
