About Sokoballs

Sokoballs is a pushing puzzle in the Sokoban family, dressed in pixel art. Each room gives you balls and switches, and the job is to get one onto the other. The catch, as always with this shape of puzzle, is that a ball pushed into a corner stays in the corner, so a room can be lost several moves before it looks lost.

The early rooms teach the rules and the later ones expect you to have learned them. It rewards the order you do things in rather than any kind of speed. It runs in landscape and plays with a single input on a phone or a desktop.

How to play

  1. Look at the room and work out the order the balls have to move in.
  2. Push a ball toward a switch.
  3. Cover every switch to clear the room.

Controls

Tap or clickEverything. One input does the whole game.

Tips

  • Plan the last push first. Working back from a switch shows you which side you have to stand on.
  • A ball against a wall can only move along it. Keep the middle of the room free while you can.
