About Sliding Slide
A shuffled picture, one empty square, and tiles that can only slide into it. The rule is as old as the puzzle gets, and it still has the same effect: the last two tiles are always worse than the first ten.
There are several difficulty settings, so the grid can be a gentle warm up or a genuine sit down. The clock turns it from a puzzle into a score, which is the part that makes people play it twice. It plays in portrait at 600 by 800, which suits a phone held upright.
How to play
- Pick a picture and a difficulty.
- Slide a tile into the empty square next to it.
- Work the picture back into order, a row at a time.
- Finish before the clock makes your time worse than the last run.

Tips
- Solve the top row and the left column first, then leave them alone and shrink the problem.
- Learn the three move cycle that rotates the last corner. Every run ends on that corner.
