About Novice Fisherman
Fishing here is a loop rather than a pastime. You take a catch out of dangerous water, the catch pays for gear, and better gear lets you work water that would have beaten you an hour ago.
Sharks are the reason the loop has teeth. They are in the same water as everything worth catching, so the decision about where to cast is a real one. It plays at 800 by 600 on a phone or a desktop.

- Cast your line into the water.
- Reel in what takes the bait.
- Keep clear of the sharks while you work.
- Spend your earnings on better gear.

Tips
- Buy the upgrade before you chase the bigger water. Going early is how a run ends short.
