About Billiards on Ice
Drag back from the disk, watch the power build, and let go. The table is ice and the pockets are nets, one of which is yours, so power is a liability as often as it is an advantage.
That single change is what separates it from every other pool game. On a cloth table a hard shot that misses is a wasted turn. Here it is a disk still travelling, still able to end up somewhere expensive. The arrow keys are there for the last degree of aim when a drag has you nearly right.
How to play
- Drag back from the disk to aim and set the power.
- Release to shoot.
- Keep your own disks out of your own net.
Controls
| Drag back | Aim and set power |
|---|---|
| Release | Shoot |
| Arrow keys | Fine-tune the aim and the power |
| Hold and release Space | Charge and shoot |
| P | Pause or resume |
| M | Mute or unmute |
| R | Retry after a loss |
Tips
- Play soft. A hard shot keeps travelling after it connects, and that is how disks end up in your own net.
- Get close with the drag, then use the arrow keys for the last correction to aim and power.
