7.6out of 10A small management game with a real trade off in it. The gophers stop it from being idle busywork.
About Garden Master
Garden Master gives you a plot, some seeds and a gopher problem. Plants take real time to grow, gophers arrive on their own schedule, and you cannot be in two places at once. That tension is the game. Everything you do to defend costs you time you could have spent planting.
Golden seeds pay for upgrades, and the upgrade list is where the strategy actually lives. Faster growth and better defences pull in opposite directions, and a garden built entirely for one falls over to the other. It is a portrait game and suits a phone.
How to play
- Plant seeds in the empty plots.
- Water them, and chase off the gophers before they reach a plant.
- Harvest for golden seeds.
- Spend the seeds on growth speed or on defences.

Tips
- Buy one defence upgrade early. Replanting costs more than the upgrade did.
- Plant in a block rather than spread out. One trip waters the whole block.
