About Drill to the Core
An idle mining game that starts with you tapping a drill by hand. Ore gets sold, the money goes into drill power, speed and cargo, and each upgrade shortens the gap between digging and being paid for it. Some strata pay far better than others, which is worth checking before you upgrade blindly.
Managers are how the game stops needing you. Hire one and a stratum keeps producing on its own, progress carries on while the tab is closed, and the earnings are banked for your return. Reaching the Core Mantle lets you Relocate to a richer planet and keep a permanent bonus.
How to play
- Tap the drill to dig while your operation is still small.
- Sell the ore, then spend it on drill power, speed and cargo.
- Hire managers so each stratum keeps producing without you.

Tips
- Check what a stratum actually pays before you upgrade for it. They are not equal.
- Relocate once the Core Mantle is in reach. The permanent bonus outruns what you leave behind.
