About SpongeBob: Bikini Bottom Carnival
The carnival has come to Bikini Bottom. You pick SpongeBob or Patrick, then walk into any of the lit tents to play what is inside. There are nine minigames: Basket Barrel, Catch 'em!, Deep Sea Sharpshooter, Puffer Pop, Ring Fling, Sea Your Strength!, Sundae Splatter, Tic-Tac-Curaccy! and Whack-an-Eel.
Each one is a short test of timing or quick key presses. Some run for three minutes, and others end after a set count of missed throws. In Whack-an-Eel, Plankton pays 4,000 points and Gary takes 100 away. A two player mode puts SpongeBob against Patrick on one keyboard, with the keys split between the two players. It is a Flash game preserved from the web, made in 2006 for the SpongeBob SquarePants series.
How to play
- Choose SpongeBob or Patrick.
- Pick one of the lit carnival tents to start its minigame.
- Play with the keys the minigame asks for, mostly S, F and the space bar.
- Score as many points as you can before the clock or your throws run out.
Controls
| S and F | Move, aim, or build power, depending on the minigame |
|---|---|
| Space | Shoot, throw, or charge a meter |
| Letter keys | Hit the keys that Basket Barrel, Sundae Splatter and Whack-an-Eel give you |
| Arrow keys and Enter | Player 2 in the two player mode |
Tips
- In Basket Barrel, press all six keys before the meter section fills. More keys give a cleaner throw and more points.
- In Deep Sea Sharpshooter, do not shoot Sandy, who costs five seconds. Shoot Mr. Krabs to gain five seconds.
- In Catch 'em!, keep away from the jellyfish. It shocks you and stops you for a few seconds.
