About Sonic Boom: Link 'n Smash
Link n Smash uses the Sonic Boom idea of the energy tether between characters. You control the pair, the tether connects them, and swinging one around the other is how you clear the robots in your way.
That makes it a physics game rather than a running game. The tether has real momentum and a real length, and learning to build a swing before you release it is the whole skill. It is the newest game in the classics set and looks it: 960 by 600, and much cleaner art than the early 2000s entries.
How to play
- Move the pair with the arrow keys.
- Swing one character around the other on the tether.
- Release into a robot. Momentum decides the damage.

| Space | Jump or act |
Tips
- Build two full swings before you release. One swing rarely carries enough speed.
- The tether has a maximum length. Fighting it wastes the momentum you just built.
