About Robot Band
This is a music toy rather than a game with a score. A troop of robots stands in Trastevere, and their bodies are the instrument: touch different parts of them, move the sliders, and a techno beat builds out of what you did.
There is nothing to lose and nothing to finish, so the interest is in finding a combination you like and then pulling it apart again. The visuals move with the sound. It suits a few unhurried minutes more than a session. It runs at 800 by 600 on a phone or a desktop.
How to play
- Touch a part of a robot to bring in its sound.
- Move the sliders to change what the band is playing.
- Layer the robots until the beat sounds the way you want.
- Strip it back and build something else.
Controls
| Tap or click | Everything. One input does the whole game. |

Tips
- Add one robot at a time. Everything at once sounds the same as everything at once.
- Play it with headphones. The detail in the layers is the whole point of the thing.
