About Music Tools
A piano, a guitar and a drum kit in one browser page. You play them by tapping, and nothing stops you from just making noise for a while before you try to make something.
There is an online leaderboard behind it, so the playing around has somewhere to go once you get good. Beginners and people who already play both get the same set of tools, which is the point. It runs at 800 by 600 on a phone or a desktop.
How to play
- Pick the piano, the guitar or the drums.
- Tap the instrument to play it.
- Put sounds and rhythms together into something of your own.
- Compare your score against the online leaderboard.
Controls
| Tap or click | Everything. One input does the whole game. |

Tips
- Start on the drums. Rhythm is easier to feel out than pitch when nothing is teaching you.
- Play one instrument long enough to learn its layout before you switch. Three at once teaches you none of them.
